To all Americans-- Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone!  Sorry that it has been so long since I last posted.  I checked my stats and did not see any new views, so I figured that I should probably write something.  Also, it is past Thanksgiving for Americans.  I say for Americans because so many of my viewers do not live in the United States (of America).  Anyway, the past few days I have been cleaning my house with my family as every year (we have lived in California) we've had a Thanksgiving dinner at our house.  It is a lot of preparation but two great things result: a sparkling clean house and yummy smelling (and tasting) food.  This year for the first time in twenty years my mom is making a complex, delicious dish called Stuffed Baked Eggplant from a cookbook called The Vegetarian Epicure.  I will post recipes in my next post.

Anyway, you should try to check out Google.com If you type in Thanksgiving 2010 Google sign, then you might find it.  Click on it and a page with six pictures and a recipe will appear.  Scroll through the pictures to find recipes for different dishes.  Unrelated, everyone should thank our president Abraham Lincoln for making Thanksgiving a national holiday.  Lots of us are happy that we do not have to work or go to school.  I think one of the things that I can wish for is that I get to see family, and that this year I get to see my mom's friend and her husband, which I am excited about.  Yay!  I am thankful for many other things.  I am thankful that I have the right to learn and the opportunity to learn (and become educated). Also, I am thankful that I live in a safe neighborhood, am not homeless or malnourished, and that my life is pretty easy and fun.  This year I am donating my charity money and earned money to a charity called Plan.  They are based all over the world and help people and towns in all kinds of ways, such as giving girls an opportunity to be educated, access to clean water, training in different types of jobs, education on health issues, and many other things.  I am very glad that there are many organizations that help people around the world.  Not only do they help those who need it, they also let people create a bond with others they wouldn't have otherwise and that they create a feeling of  joy.  I love being able to help others, and I hope that one day the world will in peace, happiness, health and sustainability.  I hope that everyone who is able to help others, helps others, and those who are in need get the help they need.  Obviously I know that the world can be healed in a day, but I know that it can be healed.  Please note that this post was first written on November 24th and edited on November 28th.  I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day or night and that all Americans had a great Thanksgiving.

P.S.  To anyone who braved the the Black Friday  I hope you got some good deals (and items.)   To anyone participating in Cyb-er Monday, be sure to check out http://www.etsy.com/ and http://www.artfire.com/
